Known for their memorable riffs, infectious vocal melodies and dueling guitar attack,
internationally acclaimed rock quartet ALTER BRIDGE - comprised of Myles Kennedy on
vocals/guitars, Mark Tremonti on guitars/vocals, Brian Marshall on bass and Scott Phillips on
drums - have garnered themselves massive critical and fan praise around the globe. The band
looks to continue that trend as they release their self-titled, eighth studio album, Alter Bridge,
on January 9, 2026 via Napalm Records. The album follows 2022’s massively lauded Pawns &
Kings (#1 US Hard Music Albums, #2 US Billboard 200 With Hard Rock Genre, #3 US Current
Rock Albums).
Alter Bridge is comprised of 12 all new tracks from the band and features some of their most
iconic moments on record. The band kicks down the door with the opener and single “Silent
Divide.” A punchy and pummeling palm-muted riff shifts the tune into high gear, setting the
tempo. The hook soars until crash-landing back into the embrace of the core riff as Myles warns,
“Remember rage is blind.” Elsewhere, upbeat riffing volleys across a propulsive drumbeat on
“Playing Aces.” The momentum crescendos towards a chantable chorus, “And if I risk it all, I
hope you’ll understand that I had to play my hand…Bad luck, be damned!” Meanwhile, “Scales
Are Falling” opens with classically-inspired clean guitar, giving way to tense and anxious
picking. Myles sets the scene, “This is a tale so dark and dim,” and a hypnotic harmony
transfixes above an unpredictable rhythm. “Trust In Me” shows Myles and Mark sharing vocal
duties as Myles handles the verse while Mark takes the chorus. That strategy is flipped on
“Tested And Able” as Mark handles the verses and Myles takes on the choruses behind one of
the band’s heaviest ...
