Howdy yall, I reckon it’s time we talk about the elephant in the room. As many of you have already guessed, we’re disappointed to announce that we’re postponing the Redneck Vikings From Hell North America Tour. We apologize for taking so long to tell you - we made the decision just after the CDC announced their guidelines that there be no gatherings of 50 or more people for 8 weeks, but we wanted to make sure all our collaborators had some time to handle the info as well - we didn’t want promoters and venues to learn about what was going on from an unexpected FB post.
We would like to thank Aaron Gray from Heavy Talent for all his hard work in putting together the initial dates. Booking agents have been hit especially hard by all this, as they do their work up front and get paid when the tour happens. Aaron has rolled with the punches like a champ, and we wanted to say how grateful we are to have him in our corner. We’re working on putting together the rescheduled dates now, but I know it would just break our tiny metal hearts if we announced new dates only to have to cancel them as well, so we’re going to hold off announcing them until we’re confident they’re going to hold up. The bottom line is that no one knows how long we’re gonna be dealing with this thing, but we want you to know we’re doing everything we can to bring our music to you as soon as possible.
We’re lucky we caught wind of this thing early enough that we aren’t suffering a huge financial loss here, and most of us have jobs that have allowed us to continue work. This is honestly the first headlining tour we’ve done where we’ve expected any presales at all, so we expect refunds will be available at point of purchase, though if you are having any trouble getting yours processed please let us know so we can help you get it sorted out.
It’s not all bad news though, we’re happy to say that Redneck Vikings From Hell will be released as planned on May 1st! On top of that, Heinrich, Donny, and Jake just recently moved into a house together (just as the coronavirus was hitting). We expect to bring you a great deal of Music Content™ including song playthroughs, memes, meme playthroughs, memey songs, meme speedruns, song speedruns, and the Official Aether Realm Onlyfans Account (okay probably not that last one but you can dream if you want).
Thank you all for your support, for your kind words on the last two singles we’ve released, and for sticking with us as long as you have. We’re living in strange times, so keep your friends close (emotionally close. 6 feet of physical space please!), limit your travel as much as you can, and wash your hands ya nasties. We’ll get through this.
